"The PeopleSoft ERP system has wealth of collected data; however, we found that reporting is substantially more difficult than we originally believed. As the CIO of the campus I was looking for a reporting tool to help our senior managers and executives know the status of the major business processes with the ease of a mouse click. I was also looking for tool that has a web based Dashboard to indicate the status of Key Performance Indicators. I found that capability in iStrategy's HigherEd Analytics, and much more. It only took several days to build an entire data warehouse of student information.
The real power of the HigherEd Analytics is the ability to look at high level aggregates of key performance measures, then drill down to decompose the totals to its ingredients enabling smart decision making at all levels. Higher Ed Analyzer is very easy to use and requires very little training. Additionally, new reports can be built in minutes and report accuracy has been greatly improved. We plan to give access to the HigherEd Analytics to all Coppin executives, directors, deans and department chairs. Because Higher Ed Analytics requires no client installation and it is easy to use we anticipate campus wide embracement of this tool."
